Pace at the Park will be held at the Infirmary Mound Park. | Lickin Park Disctrict

Join Licking Park District's Pace at the Park event on Saturday, July 12. Held at the scenic Infirmary Mound Park’s Arena Area, this hunter pace invites teams of one to three riders to navigate a marked cross-country course spanning 3 to 6 miles, with the challenge centered not on speed alone, but on matching a carefully set “ideal pace.”

Entry fees are $40 for adult riders and $20 for juniors (17 and under). To streamline the process, registration forms will be available for download starting July 1, giving participants a head start in preparing for the adventure.

Registration opens from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and all riders must be out on course by noon. The event runs through 3:00 p.m., allowing ample time for everyone to complete the scenic and spirited ride.

Divisions are tailored for every riding style: Slow (4 mph), Medium (7 mph), and Fast (10 mph). Fast riders must hit the trail between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., while those in the slow or moderate brackets can ride out after 9:30 a.m., with the final cutoff for all riders at 12:00 p.m. Please note: no second ride entries will be accepted, so riders should plan accordingly for their single outing.

Visit Licking Park District's website for further information or call 740-587-2535.
