Families are invited to attend Ariel-Foundation Park's Fantastic Family Dance Party on Sunday, Aug. 2, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Enjoy dancing with your kids at the Schnormeier Event Center at 201 S Norton St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050. The upcoming dance party will transform the center into a vibrant and lively venue, allowing kids and families to enjoy the rest of the summer and energize themselves before the start of the classes.
"Get ready to groove and move at our Fantastic Family Dance Party! Join us as we turn the Schnormeier Event Center into a kid-friendly dance club," an event invitation from the Ariel-Foundation Park reads. "The whole family can rock out to their favorite pop songs, learn new dances, and party with friends."
Kids Bash DJ Dance Parties will keep the energy high, while free pizza and sweet treats from Velvet Ice Cream will be available as supplies last. The first 100 kids age 16 and under will also receive a goodie bag filled with fun surprises.
This free event is made possible through the support of Park National Bank, Knox Community Hospital, the Knox County Foundation, and in-kind contributions from Velvet Ice Cream.
The Schnormeier Event Center is a 17,000 square foot structure that has been wonderfully preserved at Ariel-Foundation Park. It sits next to the Rastin Observation Tower along the Ohio to Erie Trail system.
