In a pitchers' duel on Monday night, Danville defeated Northmor 3-1, with a dominant performance from Addy Bocock.

Bocock was effective in the circle, striking out 12 and allowing just one hit and one earned run over seven innings. She walked two and recorded all 21 outs in the complete-game win. According to the game report, the Blue Devils got off to a fast start, scoring two runs in the top of the first inning on a pair of groundouts. Merista Brown put Danville on the board with an RBI groundout to drive in the first run.

Northmor responded with a run but could not generate consistent offense against Bocock's command. Kallie Wright accounted for the Golden Knights' lone hit, finishing 1-for-3 at the plate. Despite taking the loss, Shelby Cooper delivered a solid performance for Northmor by allowing three runs on four hits in seven innings while striking out five and walking one.

Brown led the Danville offense, going 1-for-3 with two RBIs. She was one of four Blue Devils to collect a hit, joined by Ruby Bartok, Addison Mickley, and Abi Sapp. The team stayed aggressive on the basepaths, swiping five bases. Bartok and Mickley each recorded multiple steals to help generate scoring opportunities.

Strong defense helped Danville maintain its lead through the final innings, keeping Northmor off balance and off the scoreboard after their early run. With this win, Danville carries momentum into its next contest against Mt. Gilead on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
