The bullpen performed effectively as Levi Furay, Josh Byers, and Clayton Vance pitched three scoreless innings to secure the victory.

Centerburg initially took an early lead with two runs in the first inning due to a Danville error and a sacrifice fly by Trobridge. Trobridge further added an RBI single in the second inning to extend their lead to 3-0. In the third inning, Gribben’s double followed by Redd’s RBI single increased Centerburg's advantage to 5-0.
