The Blue Devils established an early lead on Saturday but were unable to withstand a robust offensive effort from Newark Catholic, ultimately losing 12-2 in an away game.

Despite a strong performance from pitcher Nolan Ridgway and timely hitting by Josh Byers, the Danville Varsity Blue Devils narrowly lost 5-3 to Northridge on Friday.
