Caleb Armstrong of East Knox High School has been named the Mount Vernon News Player of the Week after delivering a dominant performance on both sides of the ball.

Armstrong was a force on the mound, going 2-0 with a save during a busy week for the Bulldogs. His reliability and control helped lead East Knox to multiple key wins against Utica, and Loudonville, proving him to be a dependable presence in high-pressure situations.

At the plate, Armstrong stayed hot, posting a .429 batting average. He racked up three singles and three doubles, providing consistent offensive production and sparking scoring opportunities for his team.

With his standout week, Armstrong continues to be a key contributor to East Knox’s early-season success, making his mark as one of the top two-way players in the area.
