Haws & Co. has announced the release of "Ooray for Carnival Day!: Give, Save, Spend the Westwood Way," a children's book focused on financial education. This marks the first installment in a planned series aimed at teaching children about financial concepts. The announcement was made through a press release on March 1.

According to Haws & Co., research suggests that money habits and perspectives are formed during early childhood. This insight motivated a local family to create a children's book that promotes healthy financial habits. Ben, Wilma, and Catherine Haws, comprising a husband, wife, and sister team, authored "Hooray for Carnival Day!: Give, Save, Spend the Westwood Way." The book introduces young readers to a world of woodland creatures who must learn important money lessons before embarking on a carnival adventure.

"We want this series to have interesting stories and not just dry facts about money," said Catherine Haws, the illustrator and co-author of the book. "When Ben and Wilma reached out and asked if we could write a children’s book together, I was absolutely thrilled!"

Haws & Co. is dedicated to encouraging positive financial conversations and helping individuals develop healthy money habits from an early age. Through storytelling and resources, the company aims to empower people to feel confident discussing finances with friends and family. Their mission is to promote financial health by making these conversations engaging and accessible.
