YMCA of Mount Vernon Ohio is offering an 8-week long summer adventure from June 2 to July 25, which will be held at Mount Vernon Middle School. The camp is open for both YMCA members and non-members.
Registration for the summer camp has started on Monday, March. 3. It can be done in-person at YMCA of Mount Vernon Ohio at 103 North Main Street, Mount Vernon or online. If you plan to register online, ensure your YMCA account is set up in advance, and that you know your username and password. "Let your kids come for a fun filled week or spend the summer with us where we will learn, explore, get dirty, swim, laugh and play, while keeping the YMCA Core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility & Caring at the forefront of each week," a Facebook post reads. "All weeks include STEM, reading, writing, interactive games, arts and crafts, recreational swimming, physical activities, and outdoor activities."
Kids who have completed completed kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to join the camp. YMCA members can enjoy camp at a rate of $160 per week, while non-members can join in the fun for $185 per week. Please note, there is a non-refundable weekly fee of $25 to secure your spot. Each camp week will have different themes and span 5 weekdays, except for Week 5, which will only run from Monday to Thursday.

Week 5: Firecracker Frenzy (June 30 - July 3)

Week 7: Water Warriors (July 14-18)
Week 8: Jet Set, Let's Go (21-25)
