The Fredericktown Freddies secured a 65-57 victory over the Centerburg Trojans on January 10.
According to game statistics, Fredericktown established an early lead with a 24-6 advantage after the first quarter and maintained their lead throughout the game. The Freddies achieved a shooting percentage of 40 percent from the field, while Centerburg concluded with 38.7 percent. Centerburg faced challenges from beyond the arc, missing all twelve attempts from three-point range, and were out-rebounded by Fredericktown 41-26.
Carson Rinehart led Fredericktown's scoring efforts with 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting. Gavin Toombs contributed a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Zane Luckmeier added 12 points and 8 rebounds.
Jack Lawrence emerged as Centerburg's top performer, scoring 29 points on 12-of-18 shooting and securing 8 rebounds. Trevin Harris supported with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Despite Centerburg’s strong performance in the paint with 44 points, Fredericktown's early lead and dominance in rebounding ensured their victory.
