Danville’s Humphrey earns First-Team All-American Honors

Alicia Humphrey of the Danville Blue Devils softball team has been named a Region VIII First Team All-American, earning national recognition for her performance on the field.

According to the team, Humphrey's selection is a significant milestone and a source of pride for the Blue Devils. She wore No. 11 throughout the season and played a crucial role in leading her team to success. Several of her teammates were also nominated for All-American consideration, including outfielder Addison Mickley, pitcher Addy Bocock, and first baseman Ruby Bartok.

The team said, "To have this many athletes recognized on a national level is an incredible honor," adding that "these girls have worked hard and truly earned it." The multiple nominations showcase the strength of the Danville program and highlight the exceptional talent within the roster.

Humphrey’s achievement marks a proud moment for the Blue Devils and the local softball community.
