Bowser named to CoSIDA Academic All-America first team

After making the CoSIDA Academic All-District team, Zack Bowser of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) men's soccer program was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America team on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The senior pre-med major earned first-team honors after a strong season on the field and in the classroom where he had a 3.76 GPA.

The Chesterton, Indiana native received Crossroads League first-team honors in the fall for his dominance at the forward position. Bowser led the team in goals, accumulating 13, and had four game-winning goals during the season. Bowser also helped the team with a total of four assists. Bowser's 13 goals had him tied for second overall in the Crossroads League and his 30 points sat him fourth overall.
