The Highland boys basketball team cruised to a 70-46 victory over Mount Gilead on Nov. 27 in their season opener.
The Fighting Scots took control early, outscoring the Indians 43-19 in the first half and never looked back. Highland shot an impressive 63% from the field, with Toby Rosers leading the way with 27 points.
Gabe Baker was the top scorer for Mount Gilead, finishing with 14 points.
Highland improves to 1-0 on the season and will return to action on Dec. 3 against Mount Vernon at 7:15 p.m.
