Talk about a second-half performance. That's exactly what fans can do after the Danville Blue Devils came back from a 14-7 deficit at halftime to win the game against the Fredericktown Freddies 31-14 this past Friday night.

Fredericktown came out firing on all cylinders in the first half with two touchdowns, all the while holding Danville to one.

Danville came out of the locker room with a touchdown, and then began to absolutely dominate the Fredericktown defensive line with rush after rush, leading to two more touchdowns.

Blue Devils quarterback Jacob Hackman did not achieve much through the air on the night, completing only 5 of his 15 pass attempts for a season low of 21 yards, while also throwing an interception. Hackman's contribution most definitely came on the ground though. He ran the ball for 124 yards and two scores over the course of the game.

While most people would assume that the leading rusher of the game would be Danville's star running back Aidan Burke, although he did have a good game, those people would be wrong. Wide receiver/running back Cyren Wallace led the game in rushing as he accounted for 135-yards on 8 carries and scored two touchdowns in an incredible performance.

Josh Byers, the Blue Devils star linebacker, added another 10-plus tackle game to his resume, with a 15-tackle performance. He also broke the Freddies' line twice for two sacks, and racked up four extra tackles for loss of yards.
