Construction on the new Tough Street Stadium is progressing steadily, with the stone base expected to be largely completed by this weekend or early next week, according to project officials.
The next major milestone for the stadium — the arrival of field turf — is anticipated shortly after the Fourth of July weekend, with installation scheduled to begin soon after delivery. Community members and school officials have expressed their appreciation for the ongoing support behind the project.
According to organizers, "This stadium wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of the Danville community." Once completed, they say, the stadium will serve as a cornerstone for Danville athletics and community events for years to come.
