Senior Day at the 175th annual Knox County Fair will take place Thursday, July 25, and Veterans Day is scheduled for Wednesday, July 24.
Emma Malcolm of CenterWell Home Health is collecting door prizes and bingo prizes for Senior Day. She said Dollar Tree items and anything smaller will work for the bingo prizes. Door prizes should not be more than $10-15. Please bag if needed and no bulky items as the seniors need to be able to carry them with them when they go. There will also be produce bags as door prizes this year.
Volunteers are needed and welcome. Volunteers will need to pay fair entry fees, even if they are only attending to volunteer.
