The Centerburg Public Library will host a National Coloring Book Day event on Friday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and extends an open invitation to the public to attend.

This event offers a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages to engage in creative expression and enjoy a moment of relaxation.

A variety of themed coloring pages will be available, catering to both children and adults. Participants may use the provided colored pencils, crayons, and markers while they stay to color in the library’s comfortable setting. Whether you choose to spend several minutes or an extended period, the library encourages visitors to pause from their daily routines and embrace the calming benefits of art-based activities.

For those unable to remain on-site, the option to pick up coloring sheets to take home is readily available. This alternative ensures that everyone interested may enjoy the activity at their own convenience.

This community-focused initiative, hosted by Centerburg Public Library, seeks to encourage artistic expression and relaxation among attendees of all ages. Participation is free.
