Hospice of Knox County has announced that registration is now open for Camp Hope, a grief camp designed for children aged 6 to 17 who have suffered the loss of a loved one. The camp is operated by Hospice of North Central Ohio.
According to the Hospice of Knox County website, the camp provides grieving children with an opportunity to meet others who have undergone similar experiences. Participants can engage in various activities such as ziplining, high ropes, archery, mountain biking, and swimming. The registration fee per camper is $35, with scholarships available for those in need. Registration can be completed online at www.myhnco.org or in person at the hospice office located at 17700 Coshocton Road, Mount Vernon.
The Hospice of Knox County website also informs that the camp will take place at Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp situated at 4654 Pleasant Hill Road, Perrysville. Campers aged between 6 and 11 are scheduled to attend on Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., while those aged between 12 and 17 will attend on Thursday, June 10 and Friday, June 21 during the same hours.
