Lashley Training Center has launched the July edition of its Martial Arts Summer Camp, offering local youth a fun and confidence-building way to stay active this summer. The camp, held on Wednesdays and Fridays, is open to children and teens ages 3 to 15, with sessions continuing throughout the month.

Class times are split by age group:

  • Ages 3–4: 9:00–9:30 a.m.
  • Ages 5–9: 9:30–10:15 a.m.
  • Ages 10–15: 10:15–11:00 a.m.
Enrollment costs $40 per child, with the option to add a friend for only $20 more. All classes are held at Lashley Training Center, located at 60 Parrott Street in Mt. Vernon.

Organizers say the camp is designed to help young participants gain skills, build confidence, and connect with peers in a positive environment. The program concludes with a celebratory pizza party for all campers.

Parents and guardians interested in enrolling their children are encouraged to check with the training center to see if slots are still available.
