Will Baker and the Mount Gilead boys’ cross country team had an outstanding showing at the Division 3 state meet on Nov. 4 at Fortress Obetz, with Baker placing fourth and the Indians narrowly missing the state title as runners up.
Columbus Grove was crowned state champion with 122 points and Mount Gilead was the runner up with 128 points. Fredericktown's boys' team placed 18th with 358 points, and there were runners from Northmor in the race. There were also two girls runners from local schools, with results below.
