What to Watch

The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a big lead in the first half and while they held on for a 35-28 win, they let Wooster get back into the game slowly but surely. The team will look to play a more complete game this week against Madison Comprehensive, who has yet to win a game.

Mason Richards went off for his best game of the season with 11 carries for 148 yards and two touchdowns. He should get plenty of touches again this week. Jonny Askew had 69 yards on 20 carries, with a pair of touchdowns. He can be a big playmaker, and is due for a game where he can go off. Watch for him to get plenty of touches, whether it be receiving or running the ball.

Luke Mullins continues to be a top defender in his sophomore season. He had two interceptions and 18 tackles last week. The week before he had 11 tackles. Hunter Looney is also a defensive player to watch.

Madison Comprehensive lost to New Philadelphia 21-10 and has had trouble getting their offense going. Cameron Kuhn connected with Grayson Sasis for a touchdown last week, ands they need to rely more on their wide receiver to haul in catches. He was by far their best performer against the Quakers with six catches for 144 yards and a touchdown. Zach Rothrock is a solid defender , and last week had two picks and 11 tackles.
