The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's cross-country team competed in the All-Ohio Cross-Country Challenge 8K, hosted by Cedarville University on Friday, September 15.

The Cougars finished 9th out of 15 teams.

"This was a great early season test, and I am proud of the way our men and women competed," said Cougars Head Coach Simon Taylor. "My goal going in was to have both teams have a consistent effort from where we were at last week at (Indiana Wesleyan)."

"It is never easy to race consecutive weekends," Taylor said. "But I felt like we were still able to be consistent in our race. We're going to get back to work and be ready to go at Louisville."

The Cougars will compete in the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic in Louisville, Kentucky on September 30.
