New Philadelphia 3, West Holmes 0

Sidney Vandall provided some firepower on offense for New Philadelphia (5-1, 4-0) with a match-high 11 kills in a sweep victory over West Holmes (1-5, 0-4) in OCC action on August 31.

The Quakers beat the Knights 25-17 in the first set and then followed with 25-14 and 25-19 wins in sets two and three.

Vandall tallied 11 kills to go with a block, an assist, and six digs. Kallyn Perks had 15 assists and 12 digs for the Quakers. Ellie Mason added nine kills for New Philadelphia.

Statistics for West Holmes were not available at press time.
