The 2023 high school softball season saw skilled performances all season long, and four local players were rewarded by the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association with All-Ohio honors, and one student-athlete was named conference Player of the Year. Highland’s Stevie Asher gained recognition on the Division II All-State second team, and Centerburg’s Shelby Morris received Honorable Mention in Division III and was named KMAC Player of the Year. Also earning statewide honorable mention status were East Knox’s Maddy Cotsamire in Division III and Danville’s Taryn Mickley in Division IV.
