MISHAWAKA IND. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) men’s volleyball team (3-1, 3-1 WHAC) picked up another win over the Bethel University Pilots (1-3, 1-3 WHAC) on Saturday, Feb. 4.

MVNU dominated the match as it swept the Pilots on the road for its third conference victory. MVNU won by scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-21. The 3-1 start for MVNU is the best start in program history under Head Coach Doug Sherer.

On the stat sheet, Spencer Stanley had 15 kills and a .357 hitting percentage. Stanley had three block assists. Landon Ewers had 11 kills and a .600 hitting percentage. Ewers had four service aces and three block assists in the match. Jaysen Matsumoto had 30 assists, five digs and three service aces and Daniel Skrzypchak had five digs and three assists.
