LEGAL NOTICE
Sealed bids will be received by the Knox County Commissioners, as provided in this notice for the bid package number one, Knox County - 104 East High Street Renovations (the "Project"), and bid package number two, Knox County- 116 and 118 East High Street Exterior Improvements (the "Project"). Contract documents, which include additional details of the Projects, are on file at the office ofMKC Architects, 161 North 4th Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Documents will be available beginning Monday, November 22, 2021.
The contract documents will be available for review at RB Print Shop, Inc., 165 N. Trimble Rd. Mansfield, Ohio, and from Builders Exchange beginning Monday, November 22, 2021.
Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Knox County Commissioners Office, Attn: Jason Booth, County Administrator, 117 E High Street, Suite 161, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 and plainly marked on the outside "KNOX COUNTY - EAST HIGH STREET RENOVATIONS BID." Bids will be received until 10:00 am, local time, December 14, 2021 and shortly thereafter opened and read.
Pre-Bid Meeting: All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 10:00 am, at 104 East High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates apply. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the County reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to detennine bidder responsibility.
