MOUNT VERNON – Beverly Janice Sherman, 86, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Oct. 16, 2021, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 27, 1935, in Morrow County to the late Ivan and Ethel (Carr) Sherman.
Bev was employed at TRW Automotive in Mount Vernon, for 18 years andwas a line inspector on an assembly line. She was a member of the WaterfordChurch of Christ and the SBN (Sonlife Broadcasting Network). Bev loved bingo, scrabble, crossword puzzles, classic movies, and shopping. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The joy of her live was being around her loving family.
Bev is survived by her daughter, Robin (Shane) Forster; granddaughter, Laci(Thomas) Evans; great-grandchildren, Emilee, Madison, Taylor Janice; a sister,Faye Poff; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with her parents, Bev is preceded in death by her sisters, Elaine Williams, and Eileen Adams.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21, from 12 p.m. until the time of funeral service starting at 1 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 E. College St., Fredericktown, OH 43019, with Minister DonLinn officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
