KNOX COUNTY LIFT
STATION GENERATORS KNOX COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
LEGAL NOTICE- INVITATION TO BID MATERIALS ONLY
The Knox Countv Commissioners will receive Sealed Bids at their office located at 117 East High Street, Suite 161, Mount Vernon, OH 43050 for furnishing materials, delivery, and equipment necessary to complete a project known as Knox Countv Lift Station Generators, until 10:00 AM local time on November 4, 2021, and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud.
The project, Knox Countv Lift Station Generators, includes materials and startup training required for the future installation of the eleven (11) generators, (11) automatic transfer switches and all related equipment.
Bid Documents includin$ bid sheets, specifications, and addenda can be obtained from IBI Group via email at [email protected].
Each Bidder is required to furnish with its submission of the fully completed Bid Documents, a Bid Secmity in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Those Bidders that elect to submit bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit shall be pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code and in accordance with Section 153.54 (C) of the Ohio Revised Code. Any such letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Knox County Conm1issioners. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10) percent of the Bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the Contract.
Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age.
The Knox County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities or irregularities and the right to reject any or all bids or to increase, decrease or omit any item and award the bid to the lowest and best bidder.
