CENTERBURG – Mary Moody, 88, of Centerburg, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021, at home. Born Dec. 17, 1932, in Bloomfield, the daughter of William H. and Frances G. (Smith) Moody.
Mary was a 1951 graduate of Centerburg High School. She spent her entire life on the family farm. She was a care giver to parents, neither going to a nursing home. Mary loved sewing, flowers, vegetable gardening and spending time with her family.
Survived by her sister-in-law, Susan Moody of Centerburg; nephews, Rick Moody of Marengo, Roger and Denny Moody, both of Centerburg and Scott (Karrie) Moody of Mount Vernon; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Don Moody.
Friends may call at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, Sunday 2-4 p.m. where service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sunbury.
