NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released today its annual list of Academic Honor Roll members, as well as its list of teams that were named Academic Honor Squads. The Kenyon College Ladies not only earned the team award but also had three players garner Academic Honor Roll status.

Among those individual Kenyon honorees was senior Molly Keen, as well as juniors Jayne Gelman and Casey Leach. Those Ladies were among 922 honorees from 190 different NCAA Division III institutions. In order to receive the award, lacrosse players had to reach junior status academically and had to possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater. All three Kenyon honorees were first-time recipients of the award.

At the team level, the Ladies were one of 152 NCAA Division III teams to earn Academic Honor Squad recognition for the 2021 season. Those teams that had players combine to post a grade point average of 3.2 or better for the academic year made the list. The Academic Honor Squad recognition was the eighth straight and 12th overall for the Ladies program (awards were not presented in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
