GRANVILLE – Centerburg’s Bennett Hill finished tied for ninth in the rain-interrupted Adam Tobias Junior Open on Wednesday and Thursday, June 2-3, at Denison Golf Course in Granville.
The two-day, 36-hole tournament was called after the first round because of rain.
Hill, who competed in the 13-15 age group, shot a 12-over par 83.
Also competing in the boys group was Mount Vernon’s Will Streby (18-over 89) and Mount Vernon’s Spencer Hughes (25-over 96).
Mount Vernon’s Ben Bridges was solid in the boys 16–18 division with a 9-over par 80, and Marengo’s Emerson Grassbaugh shot a 16-over 86.
Centerburg’s Amaiah Gammell (35-over 106) and Somi Bright (70-over 141) competed in the girls 16-18 division.
