A+ Autobrokers took the lead in the top of the 12th inning, but FitMix scored twice in the bottom half to win a 15-14 marathon in Mount Vernon City Coed Softball League play on Saturday, May 15, at Memorial Park.
Drew Johnson had five hits, and Jeffrey Holdbrook and Savannah Keyes added four hits apiece for Fitmix, which rallied for a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth to tie the game. Holdbrook had three doubles and Keyes had two.
Jenny Walter and Bart Bland had four hits each to pace A+ Autobrokers.
Honey Buckets 13, J. Gorsuch Construction 12
Honey Buckets scored twice in the sixth inning to take the lead in a 13-12 win over J. Gorsuch Construction.
Brandon Davis and Katie Spearman had four hits apiece to lead Honey Buckets. Davis and Tommy Stevison each hit home runs.
Logan Kerr, Taylor Kline, Seth Oyster and Josh Kline each had two hits for Gorsuch. Both Kerr and Oyster went deep.
Buckeye Crane 8, A+ Autobrokers 7
Buckeye Crane scored a run in the seventh to beat A+ Autobrokers 8-7 in a walk-off.
Zack Hawk hit a home run, a triple and a single to lead Buckeye Crane.
Justin Parker and Mike Harter had three hits each for A+.
Furry Trails 6, Presley Construction 4
Presley Construction scored a run in the sixth inning to pull with one, but Furry Trails answered with two in the seventh to pull away in a 6-4 win.
Scott Thompson had three hits, including two doubles, and Tristen Caudill homered to lead Furry Trails.
Justin Kollar had three hits to pace Presley.
Precision Floor & Trim 7, Relentless Stealth Land Management 3
Precision Floor & Trim built a six-run lead before holding off Relentless Stealth Land Management for a 7-3 win.
Anthony Miller doubled among two hits to lead Precision.
Colton Landis, Kenny Rucker and Chelsey Brady each had two hits for Precision. One of Rucker’s knocks was a double.
Honey Buckets 12, Relentless Stealth Land Management 2 (5)
Honey Buckets scored five runs in the first inning and rolled to a 12-2 win in five innings over Relentless Stealth Land Management.
Ethan Able had three hits, including a home run, to lead Honey Buckets, which put the game away with seven runs in the fourth.
Cayleb Cole had two hits — both doubles — for Relentless.
Cunningham Insurance 11, A+ Autobrokers 3
Cunningham took the lead with three runs in the second inning and created distance with five more in the fourth on its way to an 11-3 win over A+.
Mackenzie Rayburn had four hits; and Jared Scoles, Mackenzie Fidler and Josh Ecort had three hits each to lead Cunningham. Fidler and Ecort each hit two doubles and Scoles added one.
Mike Harter and David Murphy had two hits each for A+. One of Harter’s hits was a double.
Liberty Lawn Care 9, Complete Comfort 1
Liberty Lawn Care scored all the runs it needed with two in the first inning but kept adding on in a 9-1 win over Complete Comfort.
Nate Bolander hit a home run and finished with four hits to pace Liberty.
Buckeye Crane 5, Precision Floor & Trim 2 (5)
Buckeye Crane took the lead with a run in the fourth inning in a 5-2 win in five innings over Precision Floor & Trim.
Zack Hawk had three hits and Grace Dunlap hit a home run to lead Buckeye Crane.
Zack Walls and Austin Wyatt each had two hits for Precision. One of Walls’ hits was home run.
Melick Painting Company 12, Elevate Insurance 6
Melick took control with five runs in the fourth inning and went on to win, 12-6, over Elevate Insurance.
Dylan Ware had four hits, including a double, to lead Melick.
Josh Davis was one of five players with two hits for Elevate. One of Davis’ hits was a home run.
Furry Trails 10, Elevate Insurance 2
Furry Trails scored three times in the first inning and rolled to a 10-2 win over Elevate Insurance.
Matt Brady hit a pair of doubles among four hits to lead Furry Trails.
Gatlin Ridgeway had two hits, including a home run, to pace Elevate.

Buckeye Crane scored six times in the opening frame and rolled to a 13-2 win in six innings over Team of Faith.
Zack Hawk, Mose Miller and Jared Stover had three hits apiece to lead Buckeye Crane. Stover came a home run away from hitting for the cycle.
Hailey Moore had three hits to lead Team of Faith.
TJ Thorpe Trucking 13, Team of Faith 3 (6)
TJ Thorpe Trucking took control with two runs in the first inning and two more in the second on its way to a 13-3 win in six innings over Team of Faith.
Steven Stillwell and Rachel Geoppinger had three hits each to pace TJ Thorpe.
Alvin Wengerd had two hits, including a double, to lead Team of Faith.

TJ Thorpe struck for six runs in the first inning and cruised to a 14-2 win in five innings over Cunningham Insurance.
Dani Goeppinger, Cole Pinkerton, Carlie Mills, Donnie McClary and Kayleigh Beheler each had three hits to lead TJ Thorpe. Pinkerton homered, and Goeppinger and McClary each had a triple and a double.
Jared Scoles and Josh Eckert each had two hits for Cunningham.

Cunningham Insurance used a six-run second inning to create distance and cruised to a 12-0 win in five innings over Presley Construction.

Bad Company scored in each inning. But it was a 10-run fourth followed by an eight-run fifth that ballooned the score in a 26-3 win over Complete Comfort.
Jordan Burson, Shawn Maxwell, Kyle Hagerman, Justin Shaw and Hannah Doane each had four hits to pace Bad Company. Maxwell hit a triple and two doubles, Burson doubled three times and Hagerman added two doubles.
Avery Mullins had three hits, including a double, to lead Complete Comfort.

Bad Company started fast with six runs in the first inning and seven more in the second and cruised to a 16-4 win in five innings over FitMix.
Josh Hall and Justin Shaw had three hits, and Jordan Burson added a home run to lead Bad Company. Hall hit a triple and Shaw a double.

Gorsuch scored seven runs in the third inning, nine in the fourth and seven more in the fifth to run away with a 24-4 win in five innings over Wedgewing Family Restaurant.
Taylor Kline and Luke Clark had four hits each for Gorsuch. Kline hit a triple and Clark had two doubles.
