Whitney Bell went the full four innings to get the win, striking out seven along the way.

A Scarbury walk in the fifth inning was followed by singles by Burchett and Bella Ritchie and a double by Jazzy Wittman to rally the Storm to a 2-0 win over Wolfpack Stitzlein. Scarbury struck out 12 batters over six shutout innings to pick up the victory.

In pool play, the Storm got all the runs they needed when they scored two in the first inning, but they kept adding on in a 10-0 victory in four innings over SGS Magic. Scarbury struck out eight over four innings to notch the victory.

A third-inning rally ended up being the difference, and Keely Pollard’s strong pitching performance made it stand in a 3-0 win over Finesse Musser. Pollard tossed a six-inning no-hitter and struck out nine batters in the win.

Singles by Bell, Rudrick, Scarbury and Burchett followed by a Jazzy Wittman double led to the Storm’s three runs.
