WESTERVILLE – Laurel Health Care Company/Ciena Healthcare was named one of 2020’s Best Workplaces for Aging Services by Great Place to Work and Fortune.
Laurel Health Care operates The Laurels of Mount Vernon at 13 Avalon Road and other senior care facilities.
The award analyzes 60 elements related to team members’ experience on the job, including the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions and how much camaraderie exists among the team.
Based on employee feedback, the rankings reward companies that best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization. Ciena Healthcare/Laurel Health Care Company took the No. 18 spot on the list.
