Gabby Daniels added 12 points and Taylor Overholt chipped in 10 points for the Freddies (9-4, 5-3), who used a 19-10 third quarter to take control after being tied 24-24 at the break.
Laura Keith scored a game-high 18 points, Shanda Melick had 11 points and Alexandria Magers added nine points to lead the Bulldogs (4-7, 4-3).
Yellow Jackets split pair of league games
Emilee Burke caught fire with four 3-pointers to lead Mount Vernon to a 51-44 win over host Madison in an Ohio Cardinal Conference game on Monday, Jan. 11, in Mansfield.
The win came after the Yellow Jackets fell 37-34 at Ashland in OCC play on Saturday, Jan. 9.
Burke, who scored 15 points, buried three from long range in a 17-7 second quarter that put the Jackets (4-6, 3-3) up for good. Stella Bainbridge had 10 points and McKenna Brokaw added nine points to back Burke against Madison.
Brokaw scored a team-best 12 points for Mount Vernon, which used a 13-7 third quarter to close within 27-26 of Ashland.
Breena Plank scored 15 points to lead the Arrows (2-8, 2-3), who led 12-5 after one quarter and 20-13 at halftime.
Chesney Davis scored 21 points and Kari Eckenweiler added 12 points for the host Rams (1-2, 0-1), who led 13-8 after the first.
Hess, Proper duo lead Danville to pair of wins
Brooklyn Hess and Ella Proper went for 19 points each to lead Danville by host Centerburg 62-49 in KMAC play on Saturday, Jan. 9.
The duo followed that up by leading the Blue Devils to a 60-44 win at Bishop Rosecrans in non-league play on Monday, Jan. 11, in Zanesville.
Hess scored 23 points and Proper added 19 points in Danville’s win over the Bishops.
Alenah Boeshart added 11 points for the Blue Devils (9-3, 5-3), who bounced back against Centerburg after a three-game losing streak.
Clara Johnson scored 10 points, and Avery Tucker and Chloe Goulter added eight points apiece for the Trojans (3-11, 2-7).
Makaela McLaughlin led the host Bishops with 20 points and Jenna Carlisle had 12 points.
Cardington-Lincoln 42, Highland 24
The second-ranked Pirates used a stout defense to best Highland 42-24 in KMAC play on Saturday, Jan. 9, in Sparta.
Beth Hardwick scored 13 points and Kambry Edwards added nine points on three 3-pointers to lead Cardington (12-0, 9-0), which led 25-10 at the half.
Emma West led the Fighting Scots (5-8, 3-6) with 10 points.
Mount Gilead 38, Northmor 32
Candace Millisor scored all 12 of her points in the second half to help host Mount Gilead get by Northmor in KMAC play on Saturday, Jan. 9.
Madilyn Elson added 11 points for MG (9-4, 5-4), which outscored Northmor 11-4 in the third quarter to take the lead.
Paige Caudill had 12 points and Lexi Wenger added 11 points to lead the Golden Knights (2-11, 1-8), who led 16-13 at the break.

Ty Hatfield scored 16 points, Kaid Carpenter went for 15 points, Caleb Sheriff had 14 points and Lincoln Cunningham added 11 points to lead the Freddies (10-0, 5-0), who outscored Highland 21-9 in the second quarter to take a 31-24 lead at the half.
Rider Minnick had 11 points, and Gavin Hankins and Garrett Fitzpatrick scored eight points each to lead the Fighting Scots (3-7, 1-4), who led 15-10 after the first quarter.
