Absolute Love and Mount Vernon Dental traded leads throughout their Aug. 20 game, but two runs in the last of the sixth gave Absolute Love a 10-9 win. Paislee Fairall and Kamille Clinedinst each pounded two doubles for Absolute Love, and Natalie Mull doubled and singled. Mylee Fairall, Morgan Tocheff and Kaylyn Peck singled two times apiece; and Faith Ard and Jordyn Plumly recorded one base hit each.
Kennedy Edmonson tripled, doubled and singled for MV Dental; and Adelle Curry drilled two doubles and a single. Sidney Snyder doubled once and singled two times, and Jaylyn Riley collected two base hits. Evlee Rine, Emily Holler and Arian Compton each singled once.
J.B. Painting 22, Jon’s Plumbing 6
J.B. Painting scored no fewer than four runs in any inning on Aug. 17 to beat Jon’s Plumbing, 22-6. Maddie Rambo bashed a triple, two doubles and a single for J.B.; and Adalynn Sheppard doubled once and singled three times. Aubrey Phillips tripled, doubled and singled; while Lily Larner and Allie Guinsler each notched three base hits. Addy Delagrange and Kylie Stephens each doubled and singled, and Ellie Schonauer, Merin Stone and Jeslyn Oswalt singled twice apiece. One name was incomplete.
Carmen Hayes paced Jon’s with a double and two singles, and Gemma Edmonson singled three times. Peyton Marmet knocked two doubles, and Savanna Selby slapped two base hits. Jordan Murphy chipped in with a single.
