Water Assistance Program

The Ohio Department of Development and Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Community Action Commission will help income-eligible Ohioans with water and wastewater (sewer) assistance. The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program provides eligible Ohioans assistance paying water and wastewater bills. The program runs until Sept. 30, 2022.

Summer Crisis Program help available

The Ohio Development Services Agency and Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Community Action Commission will help income-eligible Ohioans stay cool during the hot summer months. The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program provides eligible Ohioans assistance paying an electric bill. The program runs from July 1st until September 30th. To apply for the program, clients are required to complete an intake process with Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Community Action Commission.

The Ohio Department of Development and Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. will help income-eligible Ohioans stay cool during the hot summer months. The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program provides eligible Ohioans assistance paying an electric bill or assistance paying for central air conditioning repairs. The program runs from July 1, 2022, until Sept. 30, 2022.
