Fredericktown FFA members attended the annual Ohio FFA State Convention from April 30 to May 1, according to a statement published on May 11. The two-day event provided educational experiences for the students, who thanked the Fredericktown bus garage for providing transportation.

The trip began Thursday morning with a stop at 8 Sisters Bakery before members toured the John Deere Training Center in Plain City. During the tour, students learned about technical innovation in equipment manufacturing. After lunch at North Market, they visited the Ohio State University Animal Science building for a livestock judging clinic led by instructor Seth Ebert. Ebert guided students through evaluation techniques and allowed them to judge cattle themselves.
