The City of Mount Vernon OH announced that Spice Alley will be closed to all traffic between East Chestnut Street and East Sugar Street starting April 13 at 7:00 a.m. The closure is due to scaffolding work and will remain in effect until April 27 at 7:00 p.m.
According to the announcement, the road will not be open even for emergency traffic during this period. The closure was requested by Bebout Masonry.
