Fredericktown knocked off Pleasant 68-60 in a non-conference tournament matchup, proving their championship form just days after clinching the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference crown.

The game was played Feb. 28 at Fredericktown High School, where the Freddies backed up their title with poise and execution.

Fredericktown's win was powered by sharp shooting and balanced play across the board. The Freddies hit 53 percent from the field and an impressive 55% from three, while also winning the rebounding battle 26-25 and doubling Pleasants' in assists, 15-8. Though the Spartans held the edge at the free-throw line, Fredericktown's efficiency from deep proved decisive. The Freddies' defense chipped in with four steals, and the team's overall ball movement kept them in control down the stretch to secure the win.

Fredericktown's numbers scream dominance. The Freddies finished 23-0 overall, after defeating the Spartans, and 14-0 in KMAC, perfect both at home (11-0) and away (12-0). They averaged nearly 68 points per game while holding opponents to just 47, a +21 margin that underscores both firepower and defensive grit.

With a 1.000 win percentage across the board, Fredericktown didn’t just win, they controlled every environment, every matchup, every possession.

The 1,567 points scored against only 1,086 allowed tell the story of a team that imposed its will night after night, cementing an undefeated regular season and conference run in their fourth year in KMAC. It’s the kind of stat sheet that reads less like numbers and more like a statement: unbeatable.
