GOAL Digital Academy is implementing a series of community-focused initiatives this holiday season under the banner "GOAL Gives Back." These efforts are taking place at all seven GOAL Learning Lab locations and include activities such as providing fresh holiday meals, operating food pantries, and offering clothing support. The academy's staff, students, and community partners are working together to ensure families feel supported during the holidays.

At each GOAL Learning Lab, participants are involved in Adopt-a-Family and Adopt-a-Foster programs. These initiatives aim to provide essential items like food, clothing, and toys to families and youth in need. Tish Jenkins, Superintendent of GOAL Digital Academy, said that these efforts reflect the school's commitment to being more than just an academic space but also a supportive community environment.
The academy is also hosting community meals and holiday gatherings at its Learning Labs. These events aim to create welcoming spaces for students and families to connect and build relationships that can help reduce educational barriers. Jessica Caughlan, Director of Partnerships and Family Engagement at GOAL Digital Academy, emphasized the importance of partnerships in removing barriers and creating support systems for students.

As the new year approaches, GOAL Digital Academy plans to continue fostering relationships and supporting student well-being through its ongoing initiatives.
