The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's soccer team has achieved a significant academic milestone with six of its members being named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team. This recognition is awarded to student-athletes who excel both in their sport and academics.

The honored players are Cora Bishop, Bekah Blair, Avery Erslan, Alexis Hoffman, Hannah Miller, and Meghan Moser. These athletes have demonstrated outstanding performance on the field while maintaining a strong academic record.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District women’s soccer teams are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) and highlight top student-athletes across the nation. The CSC Academic All-America program also recognizes male soccer players in four divisions: NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA.

To qualify for the Academic All-District award, athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be sophomores both athletically and academically. Nominees must also meet specific athletic performance criteria, such as participating in 90% of their team's matches or starting in at least 66% of them.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University is known for its commitment to academic excellence and spiritual growth. It offers education to nearly 2,200 students from various states and countries on its main campus in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
