Danville High School is set to commence its 2025 boys basketball season with an away game on December 10 against Mt. Gilead, marking the start of their Knox Morrow Athletic Conference (KMAC) campaign. This match is the first in a series of early challenges on the road for the team.
The Blue Devils, who are starting the season with a clean slate, will play three consecutive away games. Following their opener at Mt. Gilead, they will face Centerburg on December 13 and Granville Christian Academy on December 15. The team will then return home on December 17 to host Cardington-Lincoln in their first home KMAC matchup.
According to the schedule, Danville will encounter a demanding holiday period with away games at Fredericktown on December 20 and Millersport on December 27. They will conclude the year with a home game against Newark Catholic on December 30.
January signals the beginning of intensive conference play for Danville, starting with a home game against Northmor on January 3. The Blue Devils are also scheduled to host East Knox (January 9), Mt. Gilead (January 13), Centerburg (January 16), Fredericktown (January 23), Loudonville (January 30), and Ridgewood (January 31). Their road games include visits to Loudonville, Cardington-Lincoln, Northmor, East Knox, and Ridgedale.
With a schedule filled with strong KMAC contenders and challenging non-league opponents, Danville's success this season will depend heavily on how well they manage their early road trips and maintain their performance at home through January and February.
