Centerburg's offense was effective on Friday night, securing a 44-14 victory over Danville in a home conference game.
The matchup occurred on Friday, October 10, with the Trojans taking control early and maintaining their lead throughout. They scored in every phase of the game, overpowering the Blue Devils.
According to reports, Danville found some success through freshman quarterback Parker Proper, who threw for 74 yards and added 62 more on the ground. Cyren Wallace contributed significantly to the run game with 85 rushing yards and a touchdown. Nolan Ridgway also managed to score and successfully converted a two-point attempt.
Defensively, Sylas Mizer led the Blue Devils with eight tackles and a sack. Jacob Byers added ten tackles and applied strong pressure up front. Despite these efforts, Centerburg’s balanced attack was too formidable for Danville to counter.
