Utica triumphed over Northridge for the fourth consecutive year, continuing the intense rivalry between the two schools. The final score was reported as 28-14.
Northridge initially took the lead when senior Jamie O’Drumsky ran the opening kickoff back for an 88-yard rushing touchdown.
According to reports, Northridge extended their lead in the second quarter with Jayce Golden's three-yard run for a touchdown, followed by an extra point, bringing the score to 14-0.
Utica began their scoring efforts with significant contributions from Kamden Hall and Mason Bowen. Hall managed a seventy-yard dash, nearly reaching the end zone before being stopped by Northridge’s defense. In a strategic move, Hall passed the ball to Bowen, who completed the remaining yards for a touchdown.
Although Utica failed a two-point conversion attempt, this touchdown provided enough momentum to energize the team. Late in the third quarter, Utica tied the game with a twenty-eight yard pass from Aaron Hays to Hunter McKinney, followed by a successful two-point conversion.
Utica took control of the game with a twenty-seven yard run from Hall and secured their victory with a late-game score from Hays' run and a kick from Daniel Bero, concluding at 28-14.
Hays achieved a total of 299 offensive yards, comprising 142 passing and 157 rushing yards—the highest of any player that night.
