The Centerburg Trojans secured a decisive victory on Friday night, defeating Cardington-Lincoln 47-7 in the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference.

According to reports, Centerburg (5-1) demonstrated dominance from the outset, quickly establishing a lead that they maintained throughout the game. The Trojans' offense was highly effective, consistently breaching the Pirates' defense with both explosive plays and sustained drives. By halftime, Centerburg had taken firm control of the game, much to the delight of their traveling supporters.

The Trojans' defense also performed strongly, restricting Cardington-Lincoln to just one score. This performance further solidified Centerburg's reputation for balance and control on both sides of the ball.

Friday’s victory keeps Centerburg in contention for the conference title. They are set to face Mt. Gilead (5-0) next, in what promises to be a significant matchup between two leading teams in the league. The Indians recently defeated Fredericktown 41-7, setting up an eagerly awaited contest.
