Utica secured a decisive victory at home against Lakewood, achieving a score of 43-0 to regain momentum in their season.

According to the game report, the scoring commenced with two touchdowns from senior running back Mason Bowen. The first touchdown was followed by an unsuccessful two-point conversion attempt, while the second included an extra point from kicker Daniel Bero, bringing the score to 13-0.

The first quarter also saw a twenty-yard rushing touchdown from quarterback Aaron Hays, complemented by another successful kick from Bero, concluding the quarter with a score of 20-0.

In the second period, junior wide receiver Weston Simon caught a 65-yard pass from Hays. This play was succeeded by an extra point from Bero, extending the lead to 27-0.

The first half concluded with a safety and a six-yard run from Hays, pushing the score to 36-0.

The final touchdown of the game came from Bowen with an eleven-yard run, marking his third touchdown of the night and finalizing the score at 43-0. Bowen amassed 128 rushing yards during the game, establishing himself as a key player in this victory.

The defense played a crucial role as well, limiting Lakewood to just 59 total yards of offense. Junior Elijah Bland led in tackles with four on the night. He was closely followed by Kyler Zyski, who recorded three tackles and an interception.
