The Centerburg High School volleyball team secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Mt. Gilead at home on Thursday, enhancing their season record to 5-1.
According to the match report, the Trojans dominated each set with scores of 25-10, 25-10, and 25-6. This success was attributed to a balanced offensive strategy and robust defensive play. Jazmyn Larimore led the team with 11 kills and contributed three aces. Sedona Weisbrod added nine kills, 10 aces, and 11 digs. Zoe Evans contributed seven kills, while Molly Kain provided 10 digs and two aces, effectively keeping the ball off the floor and maintaining control for the Trojans.
The team's performance demonstrated teamwork, precision, and energy, which Head Coach Abigail Boudinot commended after the match. "It was a great conference win at home," Boudinot said. "There’s nothing better than seeing the girls play together and execute our game plan so well."
