The East Knox Belize Trip students are kicking off the school year with their very first fundraiser on Friday, Aug. 1, from 7 to 10 p.m.
"Come join our Belize trip students in their first back to school fundraiser!" a Facebook post reads. "What’s a better way to kick off back to school than with a fun game night."
Entrance to the fundraiser night is free to the community. Tasty concessions will be available for purchase, with proceeds also supporting the Belize trip fundraiser. Attendees can enjoy various games and experience face painting while supporting the event.
Apart from playing games and savoring tasty bites, students, along with their families and friends, can enjoy watching the chess and cornhole tournaments.
Interested individuals to compete are encouraged to register for the chess and cornhole tournaments. The registration fee will support the fundraiser and give them a shot at scoring East Knox gear for the new school year.
