Danville Local School District has announced that a Robotics Summer Camp will be held from July 28 to Aug. 1.
Two sessions will be conducted to customize the learning experience for beginners and experienced students. Beginners will attend the morning session from 9 a.m. to noon. The afternoon session, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., is for experienced students.
The camp is open to incoming grades 4, 5, and 6 students interested in learning robotics, trying it out, or getting a head start on this year’s VEX game. Participation in the camp does not require students to join the robotics team during the school year.
Due to classroom space and equipment limitations, spots are limited. If there is enough interest, another week may be added. Parents who would like their child to attend should complete the form on this link. For questions, email shelley.langdon@danvilleschools.org.
Students must be enrolled in Danville Schools or live in the Danville Local School District.
Payment is due on the first day of camp. Families needing help with costs are encouraged to reach out, as organizers do not want any student to miss out because of financial barriers.
