The East Knox softball team concluded its 2025 season with a celebratory banquet this week, marking a period of reflection and camaraderie.

The event commenced with expressions of gratitude towards key contributors, including Athletic Director Mr. Brickner, Darcy Knight from the Athletic Boosters, field maintenance lead Homer Simmons, the team's bus drivers, and the players' families. According to the coaches, these individuals were instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the season.

"This season was about growth and resilience," the coaches said. "These 13 girls showed up, competed, and represented East Knox with pride." A total of 13 Bulldogs earned varsity letters for their contributions this spring. First-year letter winners included Allie Kovacevich, Kenlie Moore, Kaitlyn Stulka, Ava Faucett, Serenity Lemley, Cloe Tucker, Rylan Winkler, Hayden Wright, Macy Cotsamire, Lydia Hill, Alexa Mack, and Ari Talbott. Mackenzie Wilson received her second varsity letter.

Lydia Hill was named Team MVP and also received the Captains Award alongside Wilson and Tucker. Other award recipients included Kenlie Moore as Offensive Player of the Year; Cloe Tucker as Defensive Player of the Year; Ava Faucett with the Coach’s Award; Ari Talbott with the Bulldog Award; and Alexa Mack as Most Improved.

The banquet concluded with a friendly game of kickball in keeping with Bulldog tradition.
